The link above goes to the blof of Dr Paul Bernal, a vehement critic of the draft Communications Data Bill. On his blog he has provided his submission to the consultation on the Bill. As he notes, the consultation period closes on August 23, so if you want to get a submission in you must do it soon. His submission makes some excellent points of why this Bill is dangerous, not just because of its aim but also as a result of poor facts behind the decision making. An excellent read on the topic.
Paul is a lecturer in Information Technology, Intellectual Property and Media Law at the UEA. He is a must-follow tweeter on these topics, and can be found at @PaulBernalUK.
